GOOD PHOTO!
This image has a side that is in shadow, and a side that is in light. The 'white balance' is 'true white' (not too orange, or blue, etc...), and you can clearly see the face. The photo can include more of the body, but it is always easiest when the photo is mostly filled with the pet.
NOT SO GOOD!
This photo is zoomed out a little too much, it has barely any shadow or light, and the white balance is not 'true white'- it is too orange.
